Are your brakes squealing or grinding? it may be time to replace your brake pads. Other symptoms of failing brake pads include your car shaking or pulsing when you brake. New brake pads can fix these problems and make your car safer and more comfortable to drive. To perform a full brake service, it is best to replace your brake rotors and pads at the same time.

Your brake pads press against the brake rotors to create friction which helps to stop your vehicle. Disc brake systems use brake rotors and pads along with a caliper that presses the pads into the rotor. When your brakes squeal or grind or you feel your vehicle shaking or pulsing when braking, you may need to replace your brake pads. It is often recommended that you replace brake rotors and pads at the same time.

Over time, brake calipers are subjected to large amounts of heat while braking. This causes damage to your calipers that lessens the vehicle’s ability to stop. Bad calipers can make your vehicle pull to one side, squeal, or make rubbing noises when braking. Uneven brake pad wear or brake fluid leaks can also be a sign of caliper failure.
